The Acting Minister of MMD met with madam Sima Ghani one of Afghan researchers
Professor Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister of MMD visited with Sima Ghani the Afghan researcher, and discussed on living condition of hairs of martyrs and people with disabilities (HoMs & PwDs).
Pro Farooqi pointed on different parts of life of HoMs & PwDs and stated that the MMD is trying to enhance the ministry's services and activities effectively due to existed war situation in the county.
He said that this ministry has been working hard in this year to fight against corruption and ensuring transparency. In addition, he added that committees of verification and reviewing of documents are active in Kabul and provinces in order to separate fake and true documents. So, a large number of fake documents have been identified and removed from paying process.
The Acting Minister of MMD mentioned that the duty of this ministry is not only to pay salaries, but also this institution is trying to provide direct and indirect services such as distributing food and non-food aid, rehabilitation, health services, social integration, accommodation, provide vocational training, finding jobs for people with disabilities and other relevant help. Furthermore, Pro Farooqi emphasized that the assistance and help of International Community to HoMs & PwDs is not enough.
Finally, Pro Farooqi expressed hope that assistance of International Community would increase according to this situation in the country and we will effort properly to manage and increase its effective.
