A joint session was held with the ministries to complete the draft of  National Strategy for people with disabilities

A joint session of Ministry of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs with the ministries was held under the chairmanship of Hamidullah Farooqi the Acting Minister of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs to gain and share ideas on completing the draft National Strategy for people with disabilities and action plans for 1400.
On Tuesday March 2, 2021 the meeting took place, was attended by representatives of the department of technical theories with the Ministry regarding the work endurance of the relevant department.
First of all, Mr. Farooqi, while thanked from participation and taking responsibility for enriching this strategy said that the national disability strategy is an important and vital document for Afghanistan. This strategy is based on the existing realities and with the participation of representatives of national and international institutions. Forty joint working sessions have been organized in which the responsibilities of all departments are clearly defined and included. He added that coordination and cooperation between all departments is necessary to accomplish and implement it.
Mr. Farooqi once again asked the departments for further enrichment and reassurance to consider the document and its action plan and share their corrective and technical theories.
Representatives of the Ministries (Higher Education, Education, Labor and Social Affairs, Hajj and Endowments, and the Department of Technical and Vocational Education) shared technical views, called the national disability strategy significant and emphasized joint cooperation and implementation of responsibilities and promised to accomplish.
